SPRING 2021

With the virtual format continuing, Inigo expanded beyond the Chicagoland area, taking on clients from across the country. This growth reinforced the agency’s reputation as a premier student-run communications firm with national reach.

FALL 2020

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Inigo transitioned to a fully virtual format. Despite the shift, client relationships and deliverables remained unaffected. Operating remotely allowed Inigo members to develop crucial skills in digital collaboration and remote work—an invaluable experience in today’s professional landscape.

SPRING 2020

Inigo secured United Airlines as a client, delivering a winning business presentation that led to an engagement with the airline. Students collaborated with United on two internal safety campaigns, marking a major achievement that showcased the high caliber of Inigo’s work.

FALL 2019

Inigo welcomed back all returning clients this semester and implemented a new agency structure. We shifted from client-centered teams to skill-based teams. This transition, modeled after leading industry agencies, introduced PR, account, creative, and corporate-based teams. The new structure enables students to specialize in their strengths while offering clients a diverse range of perspectives.

SPRING 2019

Inigo focused on strengthening client relationships, expanding our creative scope through new collaborations, and growing the Inigo network by welcoming fresh clients. We also established a mentor program with Golin, a Public Relations agency, further fostering industry growth and knowledge-sharing.

FALL 2017

Established a partnership with Golin, a leading public relations agency headquartered in Chicago. The partnership provides mentors for each of Inigo’s different teams and has fostered strong relationships between these experienced mentors in the communications field and our students. Mentors provide Inigo with professional insight, advice and recommendations that serve to strengthen students’ skill sets, development and Inigo’s client work. This partnership has been essential to Inigo as an organization.

SPRING 2017

The foundations were laid. The founders began the journey of creating the agency’s identity, mission, internal structure and new business initiatives. Our very first student agency class crafted everything from our logo to our brand voice. They wanted to create an invaluable opportunity that would last for generations of future students to come. Thanks to these bold individuals, Inigo Communications is a place where students are empowered to become the young professionals they aspire to be.
